Earlier this year, we welcomed Carrie Anderson as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
We checked in with her to learn more about what motivates her at work, what legacy she’d like to leave, and of course, her favorite Campbell’s brands.
I’m new to working in food, so visiting our plants to see where our soups, snacks, and sauces are made—in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Wisconsin, so far—has been amazing. It was great to see firsthand the passion and care that our employees have for making delicious food.
And I can’t forget about Free Soup Thursdays at our Camden headquarters!
Our value of Creativity speaks to me the most since I believe it’s critical to constantly be innovating and improving our ways of working.
Every day I see our people demonstrating the value of Care. It’s inspiring to see how much our employees care about each other and the communities where we live and work.
And the Competitiveness of this team has been evident from the beginning. Campbell’s team wants to win and wants to win the right way.
I have this insatiable need to make things better than I found them. I want to be part of a team that moves the company to the next level.
There are three things I’ve learned throughout my leadership journey:
I’m grateful that throughout my own career I’ve had a network of colleagues, supervisors, and peers, to lean on and trust through mentorship. They have helped me make decisions about my career development, so to be able to share some of what I’ve learned is very rewarding for me. I’m excited for the opportunity to give back by helping others with their own leadership journeys.
Pepperidge Farm Farmhouse Thin & Crispy cookies have always been a favorite. But after trying the Milano Mint cookies fresh from the Denver, Pennsylvania plant, those have become a close second! They’re incredible. I also love Campbell’s Creamy Tomato Soup, especially with grilled cheese – a perfect pairing!
