Does Campbell’s use bioengineered food ingredients?

Bioengineered food ingredients refers to genetically modified crops – canola, corn, soybean, sugar beets, etc. that are grown by the vast majority of American farmers. This language on our label refers to ingredients derived from those crops, not chicken 

Why do some people think Campbell’s uses 3D-printed or artificial chicken?

A recent video contained false comments about our ingredients. The comments heard on the recording about our food are not only inaccurate, they are absurd. We do not use lab-grown chicken or any form of artificial or bioengineered meat in our soups. We are proud of the food we make and the high-quality ingredients we use. 

Is Campbell’s chicken 3D-printed?

No. We do not use 3D-printed chicken, lab-grown chicken, or any form of artificial or bioengineered meat in our soups.   

How does Campbell’s ensure the quality and safety of its chicken?

We are subject to rigorous USDA oversight, including in person inspection as our soup is made; work only with approved, audited suppliers, and follow strict food-safety and quality-control processes through our supply chain – from sourcing, to the production of our soups to packaging.
