CAMDEN, N.J., Apr 19, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) –Campbell Soup Company (NYSE: CPB) today announced the appointment of Anthony DiSilvestro to Senior Vice President-Finance, a newly created position with oversight of the company’s Controller’s, Tax and Treasury departments. He is based at Campbell’s World Headquarters in Camden and will continue to report to Craig Owens, Senior Vice President-Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer.
DiSilvestro, 51, has served as Campbell’s Vice President-Controller since 2004. Prior to that, he was Managing Director-Campbell International, Vice President-Strategic Planning and Corporate Development, Vice President-Controller of Campbell North America and Vice President-Treasurer. He joined Campbell in 1996 as Deputy Treasurer.
In his new position, DiSilvestro will play a key role in developing and executing Campbell’s global finance strategy. In addition to his responsibility for the Controller’s, Tax and Treasury departments, DiSilvestro will oversee finance directors in Campbell’s Global Procurement and Supply Chain groups. The company plans to conduct a search for a Controller to succeed DiSilvestro.

DiSilvestro earned his bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and his M.B.A. degree from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
