Senior Vice President, Chief Transformation Officer

Melissa Nippert was appointed Senior Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer in August 2026.

Melissa leads Campbell’s Transformation Office, focusing on transforming how we work, reducing costs, and building the capabilities needed to deliver our strategy. This includes overseeing the IT function. Melissa is a member of the Operating Committee, which focuses on Board-level matters and the development of the Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan. She reports to the CEO.

Melissa joined the company in 2022 as Vice President, Supply Chain Transformation, where she led the centralization of end-to-end supply chain capabilities. In 2024, she was promoted to Senior Vice President, Enterprise Excellence and Transformation.

Before that, she spent her 20-year career leading large-scale business transformation efforts across multiple industries and operating models. She served as Vice President of Commercial Transformation at Pinnacle Foods, where she spent more than 12 years in leadership roles, followed by Vice President of Business Transformation at Oldcastle Infrastructure, a division of CRH.

Melissa began her career in manufacturing as a process engineer and production supervisor. She subsequently held leadership roles spanning engineering, continuous improvement, operations management, and multi-plant manufacturing leadership.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Iowa and her Master of Business Administration from St. Ambrose University.
